  • I really wanted to like this place because it's in the mall and is so convenient. That being said, I had the worst manicure experience here and will not be returning. I will say the people who worked here were nice, but the woman doing my mani didn't speak any English... not even enough to under "square/round" "short/long" "don't cut down" - all the normal things they usually ask you right? She started off by trying to soak off my nail polish like it was gel when I told her multiple times it was regular polish... she had to bring someone else over to understand what I was trying to tell her. Needless to say, she proceeded to cut, yes cut off all the corners of my nail beds and filed them into an almond shape when I repeatedly said "square" "square" "square". It may sound silly but if your nails are naturally square shaped, and you've filed them square your whole life.... you can't just cut off all the corners and shape them almond. My nails are ruined. Needless to say I had to cut my nails down way short (myself at home) and re-file them, hoping they will grow back in in their normal shape.... I lost all my length, and my nails will look like crap now for the next 4-5 weeks until they've grown back in entirely. I have trips coming up and things I wanted to do a gel manicure for, now I feel like it'll be a waste of money until I have nails grown back in. In addition to that, they rushed me out and didn't ask if I wanted to pay before she polished (regular) then literally as she was painting my nails they asked me for my payment.... in the middle of polishing. So much for that! I am disappointed, I didn't want to leave a tip but I did anyways. It's just nails, but if you're paying for someone else to do them they need to at least understand certain buzz words. I would have been much better off doing them myself at home. I won't be returning here. It's not to say there aren't great techs that work here but I did not get one, also I know people who get their nails done here and love it.... so, everyone has a different experience I suppose.
