  • ~I can't even begin to tell you how FANTASTIC Derek and Mechanical MD are! Years back, a friend of mine passed me Derek's number when our 25+ year old a/c unit was acting up. Derek did a complete inspection and let us know it was probably the original unit installed on the house and needed to be replaced. (House built in 1983) He thoroughly explained my options and suggested a suitable energy efficient unit. It was installed within days, not weeks, and we were charged a better (more honest) price than what we'd seen advertised in mailers, newspapers and websites of other companies. (Side note, the unit paid for itself when our Summer electricity bills immediately went down at least $80/month!) We've had 2 issues since and both times, someone was on the spot within hours and the issues resolved. I have nothing but great respect for Derek and Mechanical MD.~
