  • Yesterday was Balto's and mine 1st day of class. Barbara is extrememly knowledgable and can read dogs well. She taught us the proper way to teach dogs how to sit, lay down, stand, and much more. All her ways of teaching the dogs commands do not hurt the dog. For example, some trainers teach you to put pressure over the dogs hips which is painful for the dog, she teaches us a method that doesn't put pressure on the hips and isn't painful for the dog. Today Balto and I were practicing our homework and I already see a difference. I am looking forward to see how he is at the end of the 6 weeks.
