  • We hired Adams Disaster and Restoration last July, 2017 for water mitigation and reconstruction. The project is still not completed even though we and the insurance have paid in full. They did not come when they said they would, and they come unannounced when they do arrive. We could deal with this, but the latest incident is unexcusable. Two months ago Adams confirmed to have movers come this Saturday (almost one year later) to clear the rooms so we could have new flooring installed on Monday and Tuesday. We were told by Adams two months ago that everything was good to go. We were told again one month ago everything was good to go. Now, we have been calling Adams over three weeks to confirm the time. No one will call back and I have been yelled at by the receptionist. Today, I called again to confirm. Adams told me the adjuster was refusing moving costs and no movers were hired. I called our insurance company (State Farm) who told me they received NO claim or supplementals to cover moving costs and they would have covered it. The last supplemental they received was in April and State Farm did not dispute. They paid. I have e-mailed and called Adams with this information repeatedly. No one will respond. All we want is for the project to be completed.
