This whole business is a scheme, you will get cold called based on a list that they pay for asking you to become a host..."but first we have a couple of questions for you". They use a cold calling system that targets doctors, lawyers, yoga instructors leaders of NPO's and basically anybody that they feel can afford (7,500.00) it. I know first hand how they work.
You will receive a call asking for the person (usually the owner of the corporation) or to leave a message from an "Executive Producer", they will direct you to the voiceamerica.com website and ask that you do your "due diligence" and they will send you an official looking email.
They you will then call back and ask you 3-5 questions and upon answering them they will say that "i believe you would be a good fit" and if you are still a trustworthy person or naive enough to remain on the line they will tell you that the cost is 7,500 and if that is "something you can work with".
Do not get tricked into their scheme and if you do become a host, you will have a quality broadcast but unfortunately they will not be heard by anyone but a small audience. Also, remember that they continuously direct people to their (VoiceAmerica) website literally just to check it out or so they can "due their diligence" so they aren't listening they are just clicking around the website.
So just be cautious, and remember if it sounds too good to be true, IT IS!
