| - I brought my poor cat Henry, injured in a fight with another cat, to Dr Bern last Saturday. We've been back a couple of times in order for her to reexamine him, lance and drain his wound, and remove his bandages. I am looking forward to seeing her again tomorrow and hope that Henry will be able to lose his protective collar.
I am pleased with the care and treatment Henry has received, and with the comfort and sense of assurance and relief it has given me to know he has been in good hands.
As an animal lover and pet owner, I have no qualms in recommending Dr Bern, her staff, and the East Mesa Animal Hospital to you.
I am rather embarassed to admit that I am also pleased the Dr. Bern's services have been VERY reasonable. To the extent that "getting what you pay for" means elevator music in the lobby, a pet psychic on hand, and aromatherapy for your dog or cat--you will be disappointed. If, on the other hand, you'll be grateful for not having to sell a kidney for ordinary verterinary services, and you appreciate that the scope of Dr Bern's experience has likely contributed significantly to her insight and expertise, I think you'll be satisfied too. I personally prefer a gruff but very good doctor to a mild-mannered but only marginally competent vet, frankly.
The bottom line? They saw Henry right away. And, while I was concerned he might not make it when I first brought him in, Henry is now doing much better. And I didn't have to pursue a second mortgage for multiple visits, a minor surgical procedure, follow-up care, and prescription antibiotics (both oral and injectable). I could not possibly care less about how they choose to decorate the office. An older bulding doesn't mean it's dirty, or that your precious will receive substandard care. Keep in mind that whiners are more likely to leave feedback than satisfied customers.
So, I owe a big heartfelt thank you to Dr Bern and her staff! I'm sure Henry would also thank you in hiw own special Siamese way! :-) I look forward to seeing you again tomorrow morning!
