  • Mastro's Steakhouse is a great place if you like dark and noisy restaurants. Needed phone lights to read the menu. When asking our waiter to go light on the seasoning when we ordered, they acted like we didn't know what we were talking about. The steaks came out so seasoned and salty that you could not taste the steak flavors. Like other "high-end" steak houses, they flash grill the seasoning to form a thick, hard crust on the outside. For a much more enjoyable experience, buy steaks at Costco and grill them yourself at home with a nice bottle of Cab.
