Switched to this place with my last kid. Front desk people were awful save for one lady. Felt like Dr. Desalvo cared and listened to all of my problems. He got straight to the point and didn't come off as rude. Now on a new pregnancy my hips are starting to have problems, my ligaments slide around allowing the bones to grind against each other and when pregnant this issue becomes severally worse and unbearable. I bring this up to him and he tells me to either take tylenol or use an ice pack. I have a strong tolerance to pain meds so i have to double dose on tylenol just to help with a headache. It has never helped with my hip pain. An ice pack is going to tighten all of the muscles in that area making the pain worse. When we mention that past doctors actually prescribed me meds and physical therapy he said that never works just take tylenol. I've been having pains in my left side and he asks if I'm constipated which I wasn't so he brushes it off as growing pains. These are not growing pains. At first I thought he was a great doctor but now it's become blatantly obvious that he could care less. When we tried switching doctors they told us we were not allowed to do so so now we are forced to go completely somewhere else. If you're pregnancy is normal you should be fine with him but don't expect anything special if something not planned happens.
