I like this library because it is close to home and it makes it convenient to come here. On the other hand It does have many things to offer. Some of the complaints on here are because of the noise factor. Realistically, it comes down to consideration of the parents and workers. I understand a child will cry or scream. If so, then the parents should handle this due to it being their responsibility. If they cannot stop then please go to the restroom/outside and handle it. No need to disturb everyone else. Also, if you work here after a period of time please step in and assist those who are causing the disturbance there could be more to the situation going on. I normally sit in the Adult section and still can hear conversations up by the front desk. No one in here whispers they all talk, so the sound travels to this area. That right there calls for an adjustment starting with the employees enforcing the rules of being in a library so, please step up. As far as visitors it shouldn't be our job to do yours but I have no problem telling people to keep the noise volume down. I too am a tax payer and only ask for all to be considerate when in a public place of gathering.
