  • I can't believe I still have one more year to rent the house from this sorry excuse for a property management company. A year can't go by fast enough!!! I'm warning you, people, DO NOT RENT FROM RENTER'S WAREHOUSE! They don't give a damn about the tenant... all they care about is getting their monthly rent check. Yesterday morning at 10am, I went into the garage to find that the water heater had burst and was beginning to FLOOD THE GARAGE (do you read that, Renter's Warehouse?! It was FLOODING the garage -- aka water damage!!! But I was smart enough to turn off the water to avoid that... you're welcome. Although perhaps I should've allowed the whole block to flood.) I contacted Renter's Warehouse via the tenant portal (as per protocol) as well as called to see about getting someone out to fix the water heater quickly. Well, from 10am to 3pm, nothing was done... Until I was given a phone number to an AIR CONDITIONING company to fix my water heater. WHAT?! Not sure how the hell "Water Heater" and "Air Conditioning" sound the same, but apparently to the incompetent people that work for this terrible company, it's one and the same. I then called back after being given the wrong number for the plumbing company, and surprise suprise, it was too late to get anything done. This morning, a tech came out to the house to take the information off of the water heater... information that I repeatedly gave to Carmen at Renter's Warehouse yesterday. Did she not write it down? Not a clue, but I'm assuming she didn't. And then why someone would come out to waste time just to take down the same information they were given yesterday over the phone beats the hell out of me. Well here I am, day 2 without any water in the house... I got ready this morning with the only working faucet in the house -- in the kitchen. Sounds wonderful, doesn't it? I called Renter's Warehouse AGAIN, and told them what the tech "did" (rather didn't do a darn thing), and was told that they now have to call the home warranty company, who then has to contact the insurance, and the owner of the property to get approval (WHO LIVES IN INDIA!!! Not sure if you all know this, but it's 12:34pm here now, which means it's 1am in India -- call me crazy, but I think the owner is probably SLEEPING right now!!!) I asked Renter's Warehouse how I'm supposed to continue with no running water and not being able to shower, etc. and the response I received from Rachel was "well ma'am, I don't take showers everyday" -- umm... First of all, gross. Second, you're implying that I should jump on your stinky bandwagon and not shower everyday either?! No thank you. I did, however, receive a call from Diane with CNJ Services (hopefully this time it's really a plumbing company, not air conditioning) to inform me that they are "reserving a spot" for me for tomorrow, 05/03 (DAY 3 WITH NO WATER) between 1-4 PM. I immediately called Renter's Warehouse and spoke with Nikko who assured me that they are "working" on the issue as soon as they can and his supervisor Joe will call me back in the next few hours. Well it's been a "few" hours and the day is almost gone again and Renter's Warehouse did absolutely NOTHING to fix the water heater... (**slow clap** Bravo, Renter's Warehouse, bravo). But I think it's obvious that they don't care since they don't shower every day... (would hate to work in that stinky office). Just as another reminder, Renter's Warehouse, as I'm sure you're reading this... I will be checking into a hotel this evening, until someone there decides to get off their butt and do something about the broken water heater in the house. Oh, and don't expect rent next month! I've not once been late or not paid, but your NEGLIGENCE is causing me to lose money and incur fees at a hotel where I can have running hot water, therefore don't expect payment from me next month.
