  • Had just finished final Jr high enrollment for my son less than a quarter mile away. Noticed 3 of my lug nuts were loose on vehicle rear tire and making thumping noise. Conveniently stopped by my go to autozone to quickly borrow a tire iron for tightening lugs. Walked in and explained to manager that my wheel was coming off, im parked right out front, my wife and son are in car waiting, could I please use tire iron for 2 seconds. Manager told me they dont loan tools out unless they are specialty tools. Really dude, this is a desperate situation and ive spent a small fortune here over the past few years. He finally agreed with an attitude and tool was back in seconds. I even had my young son bring tool back in and he was ignored. I will never shop at this autozone again not because tool but because of poor customer service.
