When I planned my second trip back to Toronto I made it a priority to return to Steam Whistle. We had an early flight coming in that morning so once we were all settled we went downtown and came here for a drink. The brewery is in a repurposed train-storage building so it has all the exposed brick in the main area which I always love. We chugged down a beer before our tour (because you get another one on the tour) and headed on up to where the tour starts.
Our tour guide was AWESOME! Francis totally killed it he was hilarious and was very knowledgeable about the beer itself, the brewing process, the building, and the company. He made me want to fill out an application haha! This tour was different than the one we went on last year - we went to different areas than our last tour so we got to see more of the building which was very cool. Unfortunately they were setting up for an event so we couldn't go to the outside patio to have a drink on that beautiful day.
Every time I make it back to Toronto I'm going to return here because they beer is good, the people are friendly, and it's a great atmosphere at any point in the day! The only thing I am upset about is that I didn't buy any souvenir when I stumbled out!
Please come to New York, Steam Whistle!
