  • Having recently moved from Verona to Down Town Madison (2 weeks from today's post/share) the number of restaurants or bars one may never have tried will become very common for your week/weekend activities. Thus choosing Sol's rather than going to our "normal/frequent" spots. At 7:15pm the small clean place was packed! A quick glance around we felt like we were from out of town. While waiting to be seated, there was a young couple eating. It looked like they just received their food . But then they got up and left. I was both shocked and slightly worried to see that much food go to waste! sad! Anyway, our waiter was very friendly!! Sake (wine) was very clean and tasty. Ordered the spicy pork with 4 sides. And seafood/potato pancake. Very impressive! Great taste and plenty full. Took leftovers home and can't wait to polish down later. We will frequent as it's now a 10 minute walk.
