rev:text	Overall for Dental Care, I'd give them a 4. Although there was a hygienist there that I had to make sure that I didn't set up an appointment with. She was very rough, don't think dental cleanings are supposed to be painful! I gave them a 3 star review because their billing department is difficult to work with. I have been going to Dental Health Associates for a few years, tried out another office about a year and a half ago and came back here. I've had implants, crowns, fillings, cleanings, xrays, etc. They ALWAYS have screened my insurance anytime something was going to be done and I would have a co-pay for the remainder of the balance of what insurance did not pay. I had to pay this up front, and was typically notified via letter before the appointment so I knew how much I would owe. I recently went for a cleaning and was told I was due for x-rays. I then get a bill in the mail for $206. WHAT?! I called the billing department assuming there was some sort of mistake. The woman in the billing department (who was NOT friendly at all) told me that I met my insurance limit. I said that if I would have known that I would never have allowed xrays to be done. She then said very abruptly that it was not the clinic's responsibility to know when people have reached their limits and that is on the patient. oh really? so when I needed a $2,000+ crown, etc. you all made sure that insurance was going to pay before you provided any service. Not consistent at all. Poor customer service/information to patients.
