I made a mistake. I'm new to town and didn't know the name of the salon where I made an appointment or even where it was. I tried to remember and thought it was here. I quickly realized it wasn't the right place, but I was already seated and had colours picked out. So I stayed. I regret it.
This salon is meh. They do your nails and toes at the same time so you feel like you're in a yoga class trying to do tree pose while sitting instead of being able to relax. They cut the sides of the toe nails, which leads to hang nails; most high quality trained professionals know this and don't cut down the side of nails. Now my toes are sore and hurt from the cut sides and I'll probably get hang nails in a week.
On the up side, they offer water.
They seem nice.
The lady helped me pick a nice colour.
The manicure was good, even if I had to work a bit to get it.
$100 with tax and tip for a shellac mani/pedi.
