  • I was walking in Lakeview Cemetery and must have taken a wrong turn into Mayfield. A man near the entrance gate started whistling and yelling that I had to leave. It was just before 5 and I was confused because Lakeview closes at 5:30. I started walking towards the gate for clarification and the employee drove his car over and started shouting at me. I calmly explained that I hadn't realized I was in Mayfield cemetery, I would retrace my steps and leave now. Then he yelled "Isn't everybody just a f****g a**hole". I responded, "You're being rude" and he threatened to call the police and have me arrested for trespassing. I understand they were trying to close, but his reaction was completely overblown and aggressive. Maybe he is that awful to everyone, but I'm not sure he would have taken that tone if I had been a middle-aged man and not a young woman walking by myself.
