| - I placed 2 orders on Amazon with Furniture Creation LLC. Before you read this further, make a note here - I DID have a couple issues with the items I received. In a time when things go south, the company shows it's true character and integrity. I give them a 5-star rating because they handle the situation very well. Everyone I worked with in this company is professional and courteous, and I have no problem doing business with them again.
Let's start with the order I placed - I ordered a wine bar and a 9 piece Millen table & chairs from Amazon. I did hesitate to order it from Furniture Creations because of the Yelp reviews. I contacted Furniture Creation via e-mail at least 5 times before I place the order. The Internet service rep. Nick always provide full disclosure on all the procedures I had question with, and always get back to me within 2 business days. So I got comfortable and place the order.
Delivery - Bummer, the table came in damaged and 1 out of 8 chairs had issue. It's a pain, seriously, because those things are heavy and hard to move in. If you order it from Amazon, you are likely to get a curbside delivery. This means, your items will be left on the street and it's your responsibility to move it in. I don't know why some people complain about this as if this wasn't disclosed enough through the entire process. I guess I was lucky. My delivery guy was Jay and I tipped him $20 and he brings in the items into my home for me. Note that this is at his discretion, so if you are going to be a cheap **** then go ahead and stick with the delivery rules you agreed on Amazon - curbside delivery.
*IMPORTANT: Right after I receives the items and before I sign off the delivery paperwork, I took a few photos on the boxes (I had 7 boxes total), and document ALL damages and scratches on the packages. I put notes on the delivery paper, the one you have to sign. There is a section you can put some note, so make sure you do this. This allows the company to have an insurance claim on the delivery if necessary. This saves my a$$ obviously. The company will tell you to do this as well, so do not ignore this step.
Exchange - Because my table and chair were damaged, I had to go through this process. There was a delay on exchange but it was within reason. Furniture Creation did not get their shipment on time so the exchange was delayed for a week. I worked with Maddison on the entire exchange process. Long story short, she went above and beyond to take care the issues. Her and I mostly communicated with e-mail and occasionally over the phone. She was always professional, and always got back to me within 2 business days just like Nick did.
Quality of the furniture - I add this section because many reviewers pointed out the quality of the furniture is horrible. First of all, Furniture Creation did NOT manufacture those items (at least not most of them), and many of you actually went to the store and physically look at the item before you make the purchase. The quality is what you see and what you see is what you get. Second, if you are buying online like me, that's the risk you are running into disregard who you are buying it from. My win bar is great, but I do have quality issue with the chairs that come with the table. I am not going to ding Furniture Creation as if they open the shop in China and made those items.
Overall, I had a great experience with Furniture Creation even when we had to exchange damaged goods. They are trustworthy, so my wife and I are planning to visit the store to pick out some more furniture.
