The Village at Lake Las Vegas is as dead as the walkers on the Walking Dead.
Lake Las Vegas once was a booming business but that was years ago. After the recession, it never recovered. It no longer is occupied by the fancy hotels, the casino is no longer operating, 90% of the restaurants have closed and the only thing that remains are beautiful buildings with empty space with "closed" signs or " for lease " The few businesses that remain open are the Auld Dubliner, Sonrisa Grill, Perk n post and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
Though it seems nice to take a stroll along this Village, it's more depressing than anything else. Even this ray of sunshine couldn't beam out the happiness in this place. It has so much potential but unfortunantly without customers, it seems near impossible.
Besides the view, don't expect to find much at Lake Las Vegas Village. A 20 minute drive from the Las Vegas trip is not worth the trip. Maybe one day it will be the popular attraction it once was but don't count on it happening anytime soon. This one is worth passing up.
