  • To be honest, I didn't know that there were still Denny's restaurants around. I have fond memories of Denny's breakfasts and late-night coffee runs from decades ago, but hadn't been to one in ages when I suddenly learned there was one not far from home. What a pleasant surprise --- it wasn't a trip back to the 1970s, and yet, it was still Denny's. Still, Denny's continues to make good breakfasts (but they seem less greasy and heavy than they used to be) and now the menu includes a tasty "light" meal that fits my low-cal needs. My daughter and I have gone several times for a quick, casual dinner that doesn't break our diet. The service is decent; the food is tasty. And breakfast, anytime. I'm in!
