Imaginably, one of the best decisions I made in Vegas.
It took a hot minute to find this place. Close to the Burger & Beer joint, it's connected to an outdoor dining patio and the canal. So it borders the hotel on the first level. It's not deep inside the Venetian.
(Note: The Bouchon restaurant is in the Tower and the other Bouchon bakery is in the Casino).
As soon as I spotted this adorable patisserie some nimble sneak slid in front of me and bought six TKO Oreos. There was only one left after her so I snagged it and it was my favorite! ($3.50) Heavenly! Think bakers chocolate wafers broken down into magical unicorn cookies sandwiched between a satiny, delicate vanilla creme. Criminal.
Even though I got here in the late afternoon, I was still able to pick up several world class items. Their peanut butter sandwich cookie ($4) was a divine choice. Soft and buttery cookie with a uniquely spiced peanut butter filling. Their Oh Oh ($6) is a high class mimic of a ho ho. Genius idea executed beyond expectation. The Oh Oh cake was light and decorated in a fanciful way. Not easy to pull off in a mini Swiss roll. Cute presentation. I also picked up a few almond and chocolate croissants ($4). Though I didn't taste these, the size was nice and kept well. Stellar coffee, too!
I planned ahead to hit up Bouchon to bring home tasty "souvenirs" for my hubby and BFF. Worked out super well and was the ideal treat. Everything stayed fresh and brought the biggest smiles to their faces!
Without a doubt, this is an absolute must while chillin at the Venetian. If you're not stopping at Bouchon for a treat you are totally missing out on life.
