  • I'm not sure what all the hate is about, but we had absolutely no problems with this airport. Well - I mean, there *was* that one jerkoff customs agent that went out of his way to make me feel like the world's biggest idiot upon arrival, but other than that, it was smooth sailing. I don't know if it's always that easy, or always that empty, but it was a breath of fresh air, having just come through Heathrow a few months earlier. Where Heathrow was a madhouse of lines and people and exasperation, Truedeau was a breeze - in and out and on our way in less than half an hour. The signs are easy to follow, the check points are mostly automated, and (most of) the employees are friendly and helpful. We were smiled at, our questions were answered, and we were through the airport - both ways - before we even knew what hit us. Granted, we don't fly in or out of this location often, so we might have just gotten lucky with timing and all, but even so, for our experience, it was pretty nice.
