  • First experience was as a walk-in and I adored the boutique ambiance! Relaxing, very clean atmosphere with many personal perks. The actual manicure and pedicure took some getting use to as while elegant, it felt too minimalistic. Turns out Prose is all about the least intrusive, most healthy service options. There were many polish color choices and the staff were so enthusiastic that I was open to giving up SNS or gels (they do not do and are adamant about the negative affects) and trying "gel polish"/shellac. My pedi results were fine but the mani was a train wreck. Nice, sincere staff though so I just thanked them, paid and left. By email, I received an experience survey and I was honest. The next day Laurie, co-partner called me to apologize and offer me a complimentary return with a friend. Impressive. And today, I did. My girlfriend got a regular mani and I, a gel-polish mani. Both are perfect. Everyone can have a bad day and no one is perfect, it's what you do about it that counts and Prose owner and staff are very interested in building a clientele. I recommend you give Prose a try and, I am seriously considering a membership!
