  • I called and explained exactly what I was looking for and that I didn't have insurance, and they gave me an acceptable quote, so I scheduled an appointment. Spent an hour registering as a new patient, and only after they already had me in the chair did Dr. Hart tell me he couldn't do anything without an additional $200+ in scans. It was going to cost me over $300 to have a small fixed retained removed. I just couldn't pay that, but they still charged me $70 for the office visit, which consisted entirely of filling out forms and glancing at the retainer once. They absolutely could and should have told me over the phone that they wouldn't do any work without those scans. It felt inconsiderate at best, dishonest at worst, and put me in a very frustrating and embarrassing position.
