  • Good location- you can walk to East 4th and all of the great restaurants and bars. Also close to Warehouse District. I felt pretty safe walking, but would suggest you not walk alone to these areas late at night. Cab service is very quick, good, relatively inexpensive. The service at the Marriott is very good. Great doorman- Richard is fantastic. Always remembers my name. Take care of him with good tips. He is a veteran and his son is in the military. Front desk staff is fast, efficient. New bar, lounge area has been refurbished and pretty nice for a lobby type atmosphere. Elevators are quick, rooms clean- meaning carpets and bathrooms. Layout pretty old fashion, but everything decor wise has been updated. Restaurant is nice, quick, typical prices for a downtwon hotel. Good thing you have an expense account. Starbucks next door at Key City Bank. The doors from the hotel to the bank building weigh a ton, so pump it up before you go. Only down side is the rate is very high- $250 a night unless your company has a negotiated rate.
