  • My experience with Sophie's hasn't been the greatest. I had a few sales appointments in order to narrow down what I wanted and what could be done. I ended up finding a sales associate who was very kind and understanding. It seemed a few other there were new and not as helpful with what they were saying or offering. I was told I should order my dress in advance since, just like on television, these things take time. I ordered my dress in March and was told it would take about 7-8 months. Not a problem I don't get married until February. I called to check in on the dress in September and was told my dress was showing an arrival date of October 3, 2017 and would receive a call. I called today, Monday October 30, 2017 and this is how the call went. What are you calling about I'm calling to check the status of my wedding dress I ordered in March What's your name ** I'm put on hold** about 2 minutes later .. Hello Ashley .. No, that's not my name **I'm put on hold** about 2 minutes later, hello *my actual name* you're calling about your accessories No, I'm calling to check the status of my wedding dress **I'm put on hold* Hello, how can I help you Hi, I've given my name already and I'm calling about the status of my wedding dress **I'm put on hold* Hi, you're calling about a wedding dress and your name is **** Yes Weird, I just spoke to someone about 2 minutes ago about this very same order. Would someone else have called about your dress. No, I'm the only one who knows I've bought it here Hmm are you sure. I just spoke to someone about the very same order 2 minutes ago, I have the order in my hand. **** Do you think its's possible they have their calls mixed up**** No, I repeat no one else would be calling about MY wedding dress You should check with your friends and family because someone certainly called and asked about your dress just now. Sure, when will my dress be ready I have to call the manufacturer and ask them and call you back. May I have the number to the manufacturer or a head office number No they will only speak to us. Perfect, have a great day! ** Perhaps some type of organization would be helpful at my job when we need to wait to contact someone we add a reminder somewhere like a computer or a phone, you know to ensure the job gets done correctly and that a customer isn't having to call around to find out. It's enough stress to plan a whole wedding but NOW I'm stressing my dress is going to be late. I get married in 10 weeks and I have no dress and no dress to alter. Thanks for adding to the stress!
