Negatives first:
The shrimp were not properly deveined. I'm not sure if this is the norm since was my 1st visit.
Positives:
Food - Very flavorful American Chinese. In fact, probably the most flavorful I've had in years. The menu isn't typical either. There are some awesome menu choices.
Parking - Plentiful. There is parking all around the building. And it's needed, the restaurant was super busy this Friday night.
Price - Excellent price points. You get plenty of food without breaking the bank.
I ordered a carry out of the house chicken and the house fried rice. I paid $20. The portions were large. We had enough for two and have plenty left over.
The sauce on the chicken is yummy goodness. That thing was made with love! It's garlicky without the strong aftertaste. The chicken was fresh and tender. It was well sauced yet the batter was still crispy.
The house fried rice is very good. The rice, cooked well. It is served with chicken, shrimp and beef.
I usually enjoy quaint romantic restaurants, so I don't know if I'd ever dine in. The dining room and kitchen are pretty wide open and bright. No where to have a quiet convo.
China Chili is added to my list of favs while here in Phoenix.
