  • We needed 5 pieces of furniture moved from Gilbert to Sun City. The woman on the phone, Lisa, first gave us an estimate of $230.00. She told us she would send a confirming contract with all the details. Never got any email even after REPEATEDLY calling her to confirm times, addresses and charges. She just couldn't understand why we weren't getting the email. We now know why...when they delivered the furniture, they told us it would $589.00! They offer shrink wrapping and don't tell you that it is $39.00 per item...they also charged a gasoline fee and a SIX hour fee! We had exactly 5 pieces of furniture, a sofa, loveseat, end table, coffee table and sofa table! We also met the movers at the location and drove back home only to arrive 45 minutes before them even though they left before us. I will say that the head mover was a very nice man and I don't fault them. They were working for Golden Eagle and only making a small pittance. The owner also agreed to reduce the charges after my husband came unglued...still it was $140.00 more than the original estimate. This is a BAIT AND SWITCH company and they are NOT to be trusted. I also fully intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
