  • If I could give this company zero stars, I would. We found their ad on Craigslist (which was probably red flag #1) so we called... on the phone we stated the issue we were having and asked if he would be able to provide a free estimate. He agreed and arrived about half hour later with no company vehicle, just a run down old car- basically working out of the trunk of the car (this should've been red flag #2) We explained what was going on, he took a quick look and quoted us $125 with a satisfaction guarantee for the repair. We went ahead and had him do the work... about 20 minutes later he told us his work was complete and so we paid him the $125. After he left I wanted to double check the repair myself because it didn't seem legit that he was done so quickly, especially since he never went to the area where the actual problem was. Naturally and as I had suspected the problem was NOT fixed at ALL... not even a little bit! So we called and had him come back. He came back and snaked one more time before deciding that he really couldn't do the job that he quoted us and we would need to fork over an additional $250 so he could go rent the larger machine... (their ad says latest plumbing technology so not really sure why he'd have to rent something if they claim to have the latest and greatest) We declined as we were not going to give him $250 up front for a repair he claimed he could fix in the first place for $125. I asked for my $125 check back as I didn't think it was fair for me to pay him the entire amount since he didn't complete anything that he said he would and most definitely did not fix anything.... He stood outside and argued with me which was completely unprofessional, especially with a 100% satisfaction guarantee in place. I asked for his company license number but he wouldn't provide it. I would've gladly paid him $25 for the estimate and/or his time but he proceeded to argue with us and didn't want to accept that. He demanded we at least pay him $75... I ended up writing him a check for $50 which I still don't think was fair since he said the estimate was FREE, told me he could complete the repair for $125, and listed 100% satisfaction guarantee on his ad. I would stay far far away from this company!
