We brought our cat and dog here, and have left to pursue care under a vet that will not try to sell unnecessary follow ups, tests and treatments.
Customer service was terrible. When promised a call back on our dogs initial cancer diagnose, we did not get an answer after two calls. On the third day I called again and finally got an answer. I was told it was miscommunication, while the fact of the matter was that the Dr. had committed to look at the biopsy in office while the 2nd biopsy was being sent to the lab. No one should have to wait to find out their dog is dying when a promise was made to callback the same day.
Additionally, when we were constantly hounded for follow up visits that were not necessary. Our new vet took our cat off $50 cat food and provided us with a more effective and cheaper option. Baxter Vet. Clinic was our worst vet. experience in over 30 years of pet ownership.
