  • Bought the $25 gift certificate today and went there tonight. My server, Heather, was outstanding. Explained to me the rules of the gift certificates and I said no problem. I already knew what I wanted and the meal came to just over the amount I needed to spend. I ordered the 18 oz bone-in rib eye with blue cheese crumbles and asked for it to be cooked rare "plus". It was cooked perfectly! Delicious. The steak had great flavor and comes with a small (ha ha) JC Salad. Refreshing. If you want sides they are extra, this is the only bad deal. The service was excellent, just the right amount of coming over to make sure I was happy and didn't need anything else. Didn't over do it though. All in all I was really happy about my first time at John Cutter's and will go back. The server advised me to try Sundays as that is when the steaks are 50% off, though they don't except the gift certificate on specials. That's ok, as you get a better deal anyways. She said with Football season here, it is better to get there before 5pm. No problem for a good meal. :-}
