  • They were a monopoly in the 1980's. They are a Monopoly in 2015. I'd guess they are the longest running monopoly in the United States. $500.00 fee for reselling a Vegas UFC 181 fight ticket! $500.00! Just to get back the money I spent from the original price of the ticket! I bought two tickets at over a grand a piece. Now I'm going to Vegas alone :( and will have to take a $500 haircut on this ticket .. for... what ....exactly? Because ticket master is a monopoly! That's why! I could understand a REASONABLE sellers commission. But $500.00 just to recoup my original cost? I will have to sell at a loss now. They also will not let me upgrade to a closer seat! All seats are final. In this day and age? Seriously? So now if I can't sell the ticket or sell it at a loss... I can't spend the extra $$$ on a better seat. I would say avoid - but they are a monopoly so you have no choice but to use them! Must be nice for them!
