Lunch was a plate of artisanal cheeses and cured meats, a salad of roasted cherry tomatoes and the sweetest, freshest mozzarella, and a margherita pizza. The pizza itself was a revelation. With Piccolo Forno's pizza, the crust is no longer a delivery system, but is so thin and flavorful it is actually a significant part of the pleasure of the meal. And the toppings are so fresh and first-rate. Nice service and very reasonable. And where else in the US can you have pizza this good and walk down the street to have espresso as good as they make at espresso a mano? A small slice of Italy in Lawrenceville!
