This dentist almost killed me. I had a bad infection in my throat and mouth that I realized months later had been caused by exposure to pesticide, but at the time, I was just aware of a lot of pain in my gums. Dr. Riegel extracted one of my wisdom teeth without treating the infection and without even looking at the x-ray that his technician had ineptly taken. His manner of injecting novacaine was so brutal that it did permanent nerve damage in that quadrant of my face and mouth, and the tooth pulling so greatly increased the infection that the next morning that side of my face was swollen to the size of a football and the pain was unbearable. I returned twice in the following few days to beg for his help, which of course only made it worse, while his office staff treated me like a pariah and even tried to refuse me further service, after all of which, the good dentist refused to prescribe pain pills.
He caused me a catastrophic illness. I lost my job because I was too sick to work for the next five months. My jaw clamped shut. For two months I couldn't eat any solid food and had to take multiple pain pills day and night, along with antibiotics that were so strong they ravaged my digestive system. The medications were prescribed by an oral surgeon who had to reopen the wound to drain the infection, after administering intravenous antibiotics.
If you go to this dentist, you are risking your life. It's just plain wrong that he is allowed to call himself a healer and take money for his butchery.
