Needed to find somewhere to use my Wayspa gift certificate as Eforea at the Hilton had closed down. Someone had recommended Caesar Spa so I thought I might as well give it a try. On the phone, I confirmed whether they accept the Wayspa gift certs and she said that they did not. I said that I found them on the Wayspa website and she proceeded to tell me that the pricing is different with Wayspa vs. other payment. The receptionist wasn't as welcoming as she could be and told me to fill in the questionnaire. My therapist came and took me to the room where there was a "make-shift" looking massage table covered in a brown old looking towel and some sort of "doctor's office" type of liner. She told me to disrobe and cover up with the towels provided. No blanket, no duvet... 2 crusty brown towels! Thankfully I fit under the bath towel sized towel! She then proceeded to "pat" me through the towel. This went on for what seemed like forever and I thought, "I'm paying over $100 to get a "massage" through a towel?" She then lifted the towel and massage. While most of the massage was OK, she was very bony and made the experience somewhat less relaxing. She also didn't ask where I'd like to be worked on which I think is a must if the client is a first-timer. In addition, I wasn't asked to flip over and have my shoulders massaged. That was disappointing. Also, there wasn't any music playing until half-way through the treatment. Another pretty unprofessional thing that happened was when someone opened the door to the treatment room and asked my therapist questions. This happened a few times!
