  • If this place had more than 13 reviews, I am almost positive that they would be closer to 2 stars. This vet clinic is a complete joke! I recommend staying away from here at all costs! I travel all the time for work so when I am out of town, my Mom volunteers to take care of my dog for me. My dog has become part of the family to her. While I was out of town, unbeknownst to me, my dog began having bloody, jelly like diarrhea. Obvious cause for concern, my Mom took my dog to Del Lago. Long story short, she has since been back there on three separate occasions and as a previous review has said, they do a whole lot of GUESSING and sucking funds from you at this clinic. First they said she had a parasite, then they said she could have worms, then said she colitis but can't rule out cancer. By the way, none of these diagnosis's were confirmed, and nothing was ruled out. So almost $1,000 later, we still don't have a diagnosis, nor has anything even been ruled out. So essentially my dog could have something as minor as a parasite or as terminal as cancer!!! To make matters worse, when I found out my Mom was being strung along, I called to talk to Dr Barnes and he called my dog by the wrong NAME even after being corrected AND didn't have the correct gender AFTER being corrected. Totally incompetent!!! They will steal your money, provide sub standard unethical treatment and then pawn you off on a SPECIALIST! STAY AWAYYYY!!!
