  • They need a new "pricer". Gorgeous mahogany buffet $300., yet an item that would run new, unused at a Dollar Store priced at $2.00. They under price great stuff, and over price crap. That alone doesn't deserve only two stars- but an insult by one of the women staff there does. I never, ever get asked for ID when making a debit or credit purchase. I just don't- where ever I shop. Another thing that I despise in a person is if they judge a person based on their appearance- it's icky, and it kind of tells me you really haven't been around anyone "with money"(sorry for that term) and I noticed this "assuming" thing about people seems to be a thing in Arizona, as opposed to say, California where you find multi-millionaires in mismatched socks and torn t shirts. People with any real money don't try to appear wealthy, as a matter of fact they go out of their way to not appear so! I was asked for my ID making an approx. $40.00 purchase- of yarn, yet. I got a little annoyed, and asked the woman (senior, very very short hair cut, a bit stocky) if this is really necessary? I do not like being asked for my ID... "Well!" she answered: "SOME people appreciate it!" Well, I do not. I do not like being assumed to be a thief, which is what she did. If you are going to ask the customer for ID on a debit purchase, you must ask ALL customers. When you single one out, that person will be offended, as I was. It is telling them in no uncertain terms "I don't think that is your card, so I must see some identification" which by the way, is against VISA's point of sale terms. She violated her own store's terms, they must agree to not ask for VISA card customer's ID in order to complete a purchase. Maybe I shall make a phone call to VISA? In CA a law was passed making a request for ID on debit card purchases illegal, actually. I know we are in Arizona- and I do live here, but what also irked me, this is used stuff, that they got for free. All thrifts items are donated by well-meaning folks, who want to make a difference- and these thrift stores write their own price on free merchandise, yet she had the nerve to "Request my ID" way to insult your customers, Flo's! Like I said, if you're going to ask for ID, ask EVERY one- not single out those who you "think" stole someone's debit card, to buy used yarn at a thrift store.
