| - I love this restaurant for its Ramen and how quaint and cute the inside/outside is. From the appearance it is pretty safe that at one point it was a house that has been converted into a restaurant. As so the ambiance is very intimate, at most there is a table or two you can see and hear.
The menu features mainly buns, dumplings and ramen. There is also appetizers and some salads but everyone comes here for the ramen. My favorites on the menu are the spicy tofu buns and Miso Ramen. The tofu in the buns is crispy on the outside and cooked to perfection with slaw and a spicy mayo. All this is wrapped in the perfect fluffy bun.
The Miso Ramen is a miso base with chicken stock, chicken, noodles, flavor infused egg, bamboo shoots, and lots of great flavor. You can also add extras such as a spicy bomb(as usually get this), garlic bomb, extra meat, extra egg, etc. This is nice as you can make the dish very unique if you want. The ramen itself is rich and complex in flavor. It is the perfect thing on a cold rainy day. The only thing I do not like is it can be very salty but that comes with the territory.
Another thing to add is there saketini's are awesome. If you are a Sake fan I would highly recommend trying one.
Overall if you are looking for a restaurant that is different than your usual Wisconsin stop this is absolutely a must try. Once you try it you will become one of there many regulars.
