I guess I should eventually go back for a longer visit and see if I reevaluate my initial rating but there were definitely a lot of downsides to this store (despite the many positives). This is very similar to whole foods in the way it is set up and in terms of what they offer. They do however have a MUCH bigger gluten free selection, especially in their hot plate area and ready to heat items. A few items worth noting: gluten free falafel, shepards pie, lasagna and brownies. I ordered a piece of gluten free veggie lasagna from their hot table but this was very different from the one that was in the ready to heat area. It boasted that it was noodle free (not made with gfree noodles as the other one was), and looked like it had some sort of veggie-pressed type of noodle. What I didn't realize was that it wasn't lasagna, it was just cheese layered with vegetables. There was so much cheese it was actually nauseating. I can't imagine a single person who could consume that much cheese!!
I also had the brownie made with chickpeas. It had a slightly bitter aftertaste but was overall okay.
As everyone mentioned, this place is massively overpriced. I paid $15 for my slice of cheese/veg and a brownie. Not impressed. I'd give it less stars but I really feel that they do have a lot to offer to the gluten free eaters out there. I will likely try it again sometime when I'm in the area
