| - NOTE: I HAVE BEEN given a NO TRESPASS warning from all Goodwill on 9/4/16, because of writing this review. I have left messages with Eddie Sigala with no return of call. Spoke to my attorney on 9/5/14, and will further advise.
MY REVIEW IS AS FOLLOWS:
I have been an avid shopper at both Goodwill Clearance Center locations for many years. My mother, sisters, and adult children would all shop on a regular basis.
As I have been shopping there for so long, and so frequently, I have gotten to know many of the employees working there. There have been good and bad experiences over the years, but recent events have detered my entire family from shopping there.
On one recent occasion, my mother was looking for items and there was a piece of wood with many tiny nails sticking out of it. She ended up cutting herself very badly. With her diabetes condition I immediately took to the item to the only employee working in the area at the time (Pamela D). She told me to put it back in the bin. I told her I would not do that due to the safety issues. I repeatedly asked her if she would dispose of the item properly and she refused by yelling and making a scene in the store. I then had to put the item in an inconspicuous area so that no one else would get injured.
Last week this same employee (Pamela D) was ringing up my items. I was in a rush to leave as I found out I had to take my fiance to the emergency room. Knowing this, she took an especially long to ring up my items and then proceeded to throw my credit card at me. She then would not give me the items I purchased and proceeded to ring up another customer. She also completely refused to give me shopping bags and told me to "get them myself.". I eventually had to call a manager to get them for me so that I could leave.
I realize that Goodwill hires those whom might not otherwise find employment elsewhere, but I do not think this employee should be working directly with customers.
I would advise anyone to be extremely careful when shopping here as it is very unsafe, with numerous incidents of bed bugs in the clothes, and the harassment by employees.
Of note, all of our separate households (Henderson, Summerlin, Las Vegas) have been affected by this bed bug situation from Goodwill and it is a very expensive and troubling situation to deal with. Many of the employees and regular customers have been affected also.
Please be really careful if shopping here. Wash any clothes purchased in hot water immediately and spray the furniture.
