First of all before I start I am the BUFFET MASTER. I am the first one to ever review the world famous Buffet of Buffets in Las Vegas, so I know what I am talking about when it comes to Buffets. I have eaten Buffets from Reno, to Vegas all the way to Atlantic City. So let me begin.
Buddy hit me up today and said lets go out to eat. We both were really hungry so I said hey lets go up to Old Country. He said let treat ourselves and go someplace better. How about Talking Stick. So I was down since I have never gone before.
Ok this place isn't that big. It is about 1/3 the size of Harrah's Flavors Buffet in Las Vegas and about 1/10th the size of Planet Hollywood Buffet in Vegas.
It was 15 bucks for Lunch to get it. So I was expecting VEGAS or Reno quality. Honestly I could go item by item and tell you how mediocre the taste was but I will spare you the details of that. I will sum it up by a couple events that blew my mind. The first one floored me. I was standing there next to the Chinese food section and a person asked what kind of sauce was on the Chicken wings. The Chef then proceeded to reach under the counter and pull out a bottle of General Tso's sauce, I just laughed. I asked the chef if they made any of the sauces from scratch. He said nope. The second and other thing that really pissed me off. The waiter came to me and said I better get in there and get all the desert I wanted because they were changing over for dinner. YEP they boot you out. Unlike VEGAS, or RENO you actually have to leave. You cannot stay for the dinner change. So I went in to find a couple of pieces of cake left. They tasted worse than Fry's packaged cakes and pies. It was a joke. The Ice Cream was average.
In conclusion this place is worth about 6 or 7 bucks for lunch 9 or 10 MAX not 15. RIPOFF. Food tasted like SHIT. Honestly. Won't ever go back. Rushed out of the place, couldn't even enjoy my meal.
Not even on par with Las Vegas and the people on here who are giving it high reviews don't know shit about buffets.
