  • My husband and I walked down to Crave last Saturday night after a show at Blumenthal. As I have a huge sweet tooth, I was excited to try this dessert bar. When we arrived we were told that, since we didn't have reservations, it'd be about an hour wait (it was 10:30p at this point) but that we were free to sit at the bar. Okay, that's fine with us! We walked in and half the tables were empty. Oh well... off to the bar we went (which was also half empty). Our order (2 drinks and 1 dessert) was taken immediately. My husbands drink arrived promptly. After that it all went down hill. My drink never came and I couldn't get the attention of the bartender (he was too busy with the customers servicing hookah). When he finally noticed us flagging him down, we told him I never got my drink and he made it seem like we were inconveniencing him. He made the drink, but had the bar back deliver it (um, what??). Once we realized we weren't going to get the dessert we ordered either we were again tasked with the Olympic event of flagging down the bartender for our check. Screw this. We ended up having to ask the hostess for our check. Never again. Horrible service.
