  • If I could give this place zero stars I would. Management has changed so many since we moved in 2015 that I lost count. Whenever We needed something fixed we HAD to go in the office because leaving voicemails and messages are worthless since no one ever called me back, so do not even waste your time leaving voicemails. We were initially living in a second floor unit but our downstairs neighbors thought my 3 year old was too loud and kept banging on their roof daily, and it got so bad that they came knocking our door. We wanted to leave that place because we felt unsafe living above this couple, but the front office manager at the time begged us to stay saying she would accommodate us in a first floor unit and we accepted. We left the second floor unit clean and paid for carpet cleaning as it is supposed to be done and because we had already paid for that carpet cleaning, the manager said we wouldn't have to pay for the first floor unit carpet cleaning once we moved out, which was very kind of her. We moved out November 29th and left the unit clean as we did before, gave the keys back the same day and asked for an appointment for a walk through and the manager himself said yes, we can do it Monday Dec 2nd at noon. And guess what? I show up Monday Dec 2nd at noon and he is not there, he had the day off and forgot to tell me! So made me waste my time, gas and schedule for the day. That was extremely unrespectful of him to say the least. To make matters worse, we just received our final bill and surprise, we owe them money, for cleaning, painting and yes, carpet cleaning. Now, at this point i dont even care if they want to charge me for the carpet cleaning since is my bad freaking luck that their management has changed so many times and the manager at the time when we moved from the second floor to the first floor is no longer there, but have to pay for cleaning and painting???? That place was so clean and there was the same damage of paint on walls as when we moved in! This is exactly why I wanted to do the walk through with that property manager, so i dont have to deal with their lies. Now im trying to reach the manager but no one answers since the morning! Please take my advice, do not move there because if management changes yet again, whatever you discussed with that manager will not be valid. I forgot to mention the water and trash bills are outrageous! We were not living for 3 weeks in the unit since we were on vacation and somehow out bill was even higher! It went from $78 to $85; there is dog poop everywhere, at least by where out unit was and 2 of my friends had car break ins. There are much better places than the Edge and they know it, which is why they have lowered their rent price, I am aware that almost all of my friends who live there because they work/study close to Touro have moved out.
