I will take any chance I get to tell anyone I can not to use Higginbothom & Son. I'll post it on Facebook, plaster it on Angie's List. Heck, if I'm at a red light, I'll roll down my window and tell the person next to me what a poor excuse for a company these guys are.
If I could give Higginbotham & Son no stars I would. I was forced to use them through my home warranty company and the experience, all around, from start to finish was awful. 1) They were impossible to get through to. The 24/7 service advertised is nothing more than an answering service after hours. 2) The folks in the office flat out lie (actually, I'm quite sure they simply pass on lies) but they promise to call back and don't, schedule appointments that aren't kept and don't return calls. 3) Technicians simply fail to show up--god help you if you take time off of work hoping to deal with these folks 4) If you are not paying for an "emergency" visit, you will be moved to the back of the service line each time someone else does. It can take weeks to be serviced.
All in all, Higgibotham just caused me so much frustration and time and wasted energy that I'd tell anyone not to use them. There are so many other companies to choose from. I really don't recommend this. And wish I could take back even the one star at I had to give them. Horrible.
