  • Went there today with a nail clearly in the middle of the tire tread. Was told that due to the amount of tread remaining on the tire, there was a good chance that a tire plug would "jump out of the tire." Obviously trying to get me to buy 2 new tires. I immediately took my keys and went to a local shop less than a mile away, who promptly plugged my tire for $10. I called Discount Tire back and told them to remove me from their database because I would never be there again.
