For the price this place is extremely subpar. You are obviously paying for location. The room is very tight. I had a queen and it was just me. If there were two people plus two people's worth of luggage I'd imagine you'd be very irritated trying to move about the room. The bed wasn't properly made when I arrived. It looked like someone had just slept in it and made it themselves and housekeeping didn't bother to redo it.
There is no fridge or microwave. I called the front desk to ask if there was a microwave in the lobby and they said they would bring one to my room if they could find one that worked. Er, ok. They did find one and quickly brought it up and I immediately saw why they assumed it might not work. It was old and dingy and looked to be from the early 90s. I didn't even want to put my food in it. Honestly when the guy was setting it up I wanted to tell him "nevermind" and to take it back with him but I didn't have the heart since he had just lugged it up to me.
Wifi is free but unreliable. It was down when I first arrived. The carpet in the elevators and hallways are old and stained. The whole place just screams that it needs to be deep cleaned. It's like everytime you touch something you want to run and wash your hands. Small things make the difference. Like the remote control was grimy as hell. I'm not ocd or anything but I had to use mind over matter just to change the channel. It was gross.
The shower was nice and hot and had good pressure but above there was a very dirty vent. See picture.
Staff was mostly pleasant and location is fine. I was inclined to give an additional star because of that but I almost forgot to mention the PAPER THIN WALLS where you can hear every conversation. You can even hear when someone drops something on the floor! This is a one star hotel and they should feel bad about what they charge people to stay there. If you stay here you will not sleep well without earplugs!
