  • Five stars across the board! The place was hard to locate, since the street address puts them at the other end of the building on Bland St, but once I found the garage, it was on. We had the Tori Kara Age (fried chicken) and the Rice Crispy Squares appetizers, what a treat, especially the chicken, every bite tasted like crispy chicken skin. The tuna was fresh and seasoned nicely, presentation was wonderful. I had the Tonkatsu pork broth with pork belly and it was full of veggies and loaded with flavor. My wife enjoyed the Niwa vegan broth with veggies, wonderful as well. I finished all mine and was jealous when she had leftovers a little later in the day. We will be back often!
