I very much enjoyed staying at the Palms Place. We got a great deal through AirBNB through a private owner on Superbowl Weekend ( i am pretty sure he was not aware it was Super Bowl when i booked it in December) The Palms Place itself is simple and sleek. The lobby has one little convenience store type thing and a nice bar. The room, at least my room, was fabulous. It was located on the 31st floor strip view. Even though this is privately owned I think the same bedding/furniture is in the rest of the rooms. The layout is pretty with a small kitchen and seating area. The bathroom was modern and white marble and I loved it. Full soaking tub. The bed was comfortable. There were two TVs one in front of the bed and one in front of the couch, which were pretty much right next to each other lol. The view was obviously the best part. It was gorgeous. The only problem is the balcony was some type of plexiglass or something so appeared dirty instead of nice and clear :( There is a restaurant on site Cafe 6 that was running a groupon, but even without the groupon, after going there I would go back. Yummy burgers (and deep fried oreos wow) and beautiful view of the pool. The Palms is a short walk through inside corridors to the Palms Casino which had more food options and a casino if that's your thing. I would stay at the Palms again in the winter time as the pool seemed slightly small to hang out in the summer. Ive read some bad reviews for this place, so not sure if that comes down to the hotel itself and not privately owned rooms. I thought it was a perfectly nice place outside of my room too. It is small and does not have much going on so if you want quiet this would probably be the place. A little off the strip, cost about $8.00-$10.00 on average for us to get to the strip depending on where. Thumbs up :)
