I read all the negative reviews and my gut told me to give this hotel a try.
We stayed one night, a pleasant night in fact. There was grime on the outside of the lower part of the shower but the clerk at the front desk told us they were short on maids the other day. Understood, you can't get every nook and cranny when there's a full house and a shortage of cleaning crew.
We stayed in the King suite which was large enough for four people but there were only two of us. I did have to go downstairs and request some linens and a blanket for the sofa bed but the firm mattress more than made up for everything. Besides I needed to walk after a long day of driving and good night's sleep is worth more than meager details.
The free breakfast was really good. Waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, and the coffee was really good. The front desk clerk, Chris, was super nice and very accommodating. I'd stay here again.
