| - I love aquariums. I've been to many -- the New England Aquarium in Boston, the Seattle Aquarium, the Vancouver Aquarium, the Maui Ocean Center, the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. They're all unique, and so is Ripley's Aquarium. Located next to the CN Tower, Ripley's focuses mainly on fish and invertebrates (no mammals). The best part was the Dangerous Lagoon, where you're walking underneath a giant pool with a 360-degree view of sharks swimming by. I tried to avoid screaming kids by going on a Tuesday morning, but once 10am hits, they start funneling in. After 3pm is a better time to visit if you want to avoid children.
At $30 per adult, the price is steep compared to other aquariums. The annual pass is also expensive in comparison.
I don't think I will come back here, but it was nice to visit once.
