  • The Tropicana is part of the doubletree Hilton which was a nice surprise. My husband travels a lot for his job and this allowed us to cash in on his points and stay a few nights here. When we showed up early on a Friday morning no rooms were available. Boo! We went into the special Hilton rewards room at reception to see if they can help us out. They were able to get us a room just not the original one. No worries there! We also got a coupon for a free cookie and 2 breakfast buffets to use during out stay. When we redeemed the coupon for the cookies the lady ended up hooking this cookie monster up! She gave us 4 cookies and they were awesome! Our room was a suite within the west tower. The room faced the road and we could actually see and hear (when we opened the window) the LiveHeartRadio show going on that weekend. The room itself had his and her sinks across from each other and a nice big shower decent shower pressure. The bed was decent and provided a comfortable night sleep. The room was slightly dated but really no complaints here.
